For Patients:  What to Expect

If you’ve been referred to a retina specialist, you may not know what to expect — and that’s completely normal. From your first call through follow-up care, our team is with you every step of the way.

At your first visit, we’ll review your history and take detailed images of your retina. Dr. Reed will examine your eyes, explain what he finds in plain language, and answer your questions. If you need treatment, we’ll walk through your options together.

Please allow extra time for this visit. Your eyes will be dilated, so bring sunglasses and arrange for someone to drive you home.
